Hi and welcome to the forum!
I dont drink due to my meds but I do have problems with recapping over and over have I made a small mistake. A mistake that others would not be bothered about but for me its huge and never leaves me.
I think you have to try and be kind to yourself.
Could you refer yourself to some talking therapy? That might help?

Welcome to the forum Janedoe543

I'm sorry, but I don't have an easy answer because being self-employed I have to go to work and earn money. But there is pleasure in working alone, and maybe you could do this if work comes along and you're able to do it?

I don't drink much alchol and especially not the day after when having to drive. But I love sucking mints (as my name here) and soft drinks can be useful, oa some nice hot soup from a thermos for cold wintery days like today.

Try and keep from over-thinking because it never helps. Sometimes we think people mind, when really they are not thinking of us at all, but rather themselves. Try and take things a day at a time, or even an hour at at time could be helpful.

Finding a therapist might help. Have a look on google if there is someone qualified in your area you can arrange to have a few sessions with. :)
