When reading the forum I notice some voice hearers interact with their voices.

This is something I've never been able to do.

They don't talk back to me or answer my questions.

It's a one way thing. they are part of reality.

Hi

I too have tried to interact with the external voices but they are like ghosts that call at me from various directions but say their peace and disappear. I can however interact with the voices in my head but I tend to get drawn into a negative spiral so try not to get drawn into this. I hope this helps. I need to get back to work now so will catch up with any reply later

Hi flatz, do your voices dictate or narrate your thoughts? If so, have you tried thinking the words you want to say. If not, maybe you could start somewhere else, such as in your dreams. When dreaming try to consciously change things with in the dream. Start off small like moving a small object, then build up to changing the entire scene. When you are able to do this, it may be easier to communicate with the voices.
