I’m not stable in the mental department. My marriage isn’t working but it could be me? I don’t know. So I have a therapist for regular counseling. I’m waiting for a psychiatrist appointment. I am medicated but it isn’t really helping much.

should I get marriage counseling too? Or should I wait til I’m stable? What if I am never stable?!

Marriage counseling will let your spouse have an outlet and mediator to help you short term with issues that you are having. It could help strengthen your marriage. The marital counselor can see the big picture with you and your spouse, it's probably not all you since it takes two to tango. :) But I don't know the details so that is my guess. Good luck!

thanks. I’m probably just going by myself. He doesn’t think we have a problem.

I think if you are having marriage counseling you need the other partner. Do you want to go into more detail about what is happening? If he thinks there isn't a problem but you think there is, does he care about your concern?

10 yrs of marriage and the only support I got is financial. He pretty dead everywhere else. Sexually... I guess it’s ok. But a good example. I would be crying in bed. He would ask me if I’m crying I would answer yes I’m crying. He would roll over and continue to watch tv and I just end up falling asleep in my tears. He doesn’t offer comforting words or hold me.

I have told him six months into the marriage things needs to change. I am not happy. He just blows it off. Like I’m talking to a wall. Ithink I have told him every 6 months.

2 days before 10 yr anniversary I gave him back my wedding ring and said if he doesn’t help fix this marriage. I’m just going to ignore him too.

it’s been about 4 months since then. Nothing new. I don’t think I am speaking English. Ido speak another language but I haven’t spoke in that language for 3 years now so I don’t think I’m speaking in another language!! But I can be wrong.

like I said he doesn’t seem to think anything is wrong. I feel used and not appreciated. He never compliments me. Barely say he loves me. I use to love taking pictures of myself now I HATE looking in the mirror.
I have changed so much. I hate who I am!

Oh... that's much different... that is a very big problem. Well that's good you gave him an ultimatum. You deserve to be happy too. Are you set to move out if this doesn't work out? Can you support yourself financially without him?

I can not support myself at all. I’m in roughly $7000 in debt. I don’t make any money. I only have a high school diploma so I probably can get a minimum wage job.

but at the moment people just bother me. I walk away when I can’t deal with things.

I’m screwed
