Assuming I do not have a relapse I am about to become an RN

One year away yay

I am in remision

I just want people to know remision is possible, and to not give up

I thought this disease was the end of my life, but yet here I am thriving in a competivive program making the best of a tough situation

I suppose, but bassically I decided to pursue this because a Nurse practitioner saved my life.

So i set out on this journey to become a nurse

I had a mrsa infection in my left lung which the np caught that the doctor missed. Her catching it litterally saved my life

Me too, and Ive dedicated my life to giving back since then

I lost all my friends due to my mental health.

And my physical health has been crap too, but Its lead me to nursing which means everything to me even more than former lovers

So Id say Id call it even

Hello and Congratulations !!
I had my first episode of this Schizophrenia in the middle of my Post-Graduate studies in America. But that did not faze me !! I went full steam ahead and completed my Doctorate in Computer Engineering, and have been working in really great jobs DESPITE constantly having the Voices.
From my experience I have had may episodes of Remission but these are really temporary and the VOICES keep re-surfacing. So keep vigilant and please don't be complacent that you can get into total remission.
DESPITE the Voices I have been able to live a RICH and FULL Life enjoy all the pleasures and prosper as well. These Voices when the time comes I ma able to shove them in my back pocket and simply do the things I need to do !!
So All the best and you MUST go ahead with your Career plans !! Never let the Voices get the upper hand and disrupt your lives.
