I too now think what I'm eating is more important as I was eating very little but now I'm making more of an effort to help me feel better

Sounds very good @Dorf , I have found that my mood gets worse if I don't eat for too long. I have been prone to emotional eating in the past though. Now I eat lots of vegetables and fruits if I get a low mood or get anxious and it definitely helps. The food I am eating are very low in calories so I am actually losing weight.

Working in mental health you should know its got nothing to do with weakness.
You will have to wait some time for the meds to kick in is it worth it?
The supplements are good advice. B12 especially is critical as is D3 10000iu pd with vitk and also omega3 too.
Have you heard of zembrin?

I haven't heard of zembrin, can you tell me more about it? Last night when I went to bed I felt I had to go downstairs to check the front door was locked. I was 5 steps away from the door and fell and hit the front door hard! I've hurt my knee, very painful and I'm feeling quite shaken!

St JW doesnt work for everyone and I think it may interfere with vit D. Definitely not to be taken with prescription meds.
Zembrin which I keep putting off buying-must must buy some!- is supposedly astounding, its the name of a processed standardized S.A plant, also known as Kanna. Google Zembrin.

dont go anywhere near anti depressents this is my opinion as someone who suffers i dont like to use that word but i have depression/suicide ideation/anxiety and apparently ptsd anti depressents are pure cancer i would suggest seeing a occupational therapist who specialises in cbt go on youtube look up cbt therapy it is the best it works for me but it may for you
I've tried all the SSRIs and every one caused weight gain, confusion and memory loss, never again!

If I decide to try meds again I'd want something different and hope there's a med that doesn't cause weight gain and withdrawal symptoms. I'm not going back on SSRIs for sure!

Most research on SSRI's are false, big pharma have always been reporting just the positive results while killing all the results that are bad for their products. There are many scams online but there are just as many in the pharma industry.
I am pessimistic about any drug that is effective in the near future, the stuff I have read indicates that the experts pharmaceutical knowledge about treatment of anxiety and depression is almost non-existent.

they just give you more problems and dont even solve the underlying problem it just makes you appear fine when you still are not
