Are there more bpd girls that find it extremely hard to talk about sex? Hard to say what you do and don't want?
Is that typical for bpd? What makes it so hard? And how to deal with it?

Sorry for excluding the opposite sex here Letmein.... I didn't mean to, just thought it would more be a girl thing.... Please do share your thoughts, concerns and experiences if you feel like it!

I'm a girl, I haven't had sex yet, I've been asked too and did almost go through with it, but I just couldn't bring myself and I know now that I wasn't ready

I think shame was the main reason as my mum made it out like such a taboo thing growing up as she'd be the first to label me something I'm not (a slut) even now as an adult, but having a friend group that was open to talking about sex and having done it themselves has helped me in recent years feel less ashamed

I know this isn't the answer you are looking for especially from a virgin, but I think the only way to overcome it is to talk more, over time it should get more comfortable as no one should judge you

sorry that I can't be of any help because I have problems with promiscuity. I hope you can be more comfortable talking about sex with people you know well over time.
