I was wondering if anyone has ever had reservations about bringing up an issue such as SH, thoughts of suicide, etc., In fear that their therapist may have them held for observation? Should I wait for my therapist to bring up the topic of SH or should I bring it up in a session? Thanks!

Hi,
Do what you feel comfortable with.
They won't hold you for observation unless they are really worried about you.
However, telling them may mean they can help you more and understand you better.
Hope you are okay.
