I just self harmed.
Weirdly enough, it was after a visit to my uncle that gave me great joy.
Managed to do it on a spot that is easy to hide tho

Forgot to add: On last Thursday(i think), The coworker that is really amazing and chill asked if i had a fight with my GF(which i dont have) when he saw my hands - i managed to make a sneaky guy comment and i think he bought it (or he might know whats going on and is smart enough to not let me know that he knows :rofl2:)
I was very self concious about this. Luckily, im quickly suntanned.
With everyday that i work, the scars and marks dissapear more.
Bought myself a new Concealer today. It works wonders i was very confortable going shirtless. Sure, i have marks. But those dont seem... Like an injury from... my SH type. (I use the concealer on 50% of the mark because it doesnt hide it completely anyways)
Those marks can be from an assortment of causes

Even though i worked with my ass**** Coworker today,
i managed to not SH.

After i came home and When i knew the rage was about to come (i have a few seconds where i can just tell its about to happen)
I thought about the type, the action of SH im about to do and just figured to just press my teeth together as hard as possible until the moment goes away. It worked.

Huge success, will try it again!

Can you guys give me any Tips on how to STOP SH before it happens?
Do you have some method to clear your head, to realize what
you are about to do is bad and you should stop?

Im lucky enough to not SH badly enough to deal permanent damage (except some older scars)
but i want it to stop.
I once read a tip that said when you feel the need to self harm you can do it in less damaging ways such as taking a cold shower or snapping your wrist with a rubber band. I used to make myself suffer by forcing myself to run for 2 miles or more a day and I ended up losing 10 pounds which was good.

I found doing risk sports was really helpful as well

Update: Apart from a very tiny and insignificant amount of SH on Thursday that did no damage at all (managed to concentrate it on an area that is safe-ish and only did like 10% of the SH i usually do), no SH since 29th of may. Also worked 4 days shirtless in the burning sun, most of my older scars are nearly invisible due to being tanned
