I sometimes ask my partner how he sees my illness. I asked him to write something so I can add his view as an additional statement to my PIP claim. I am surprised that he has so much more insight into my condition than I have. Not sure if he is describing Bipolar (yes I am diagnosed as such, but I feel sceptical at times) but I found it interesting...

Interesting. I have never had anyone offer any assessment on me like that, other than MH professionals who do the diagnosing.

If people who know me wrote down things about me, they would probably just say, "Odd."

That's fair enough. Unfortunately I didn't have any letters saved from my psychiatrist so I put his writing in as evidence to support my claim. He isn't diagnosising, just explaining how its affecting me.
