Interesting article, thanks for the link.

Sometimes I feel like the whole western world and the ideology of governments has turned to a goal of 'perfectionism' that seeks to reduce everything to numbers, ratios, percentages and stuff that can be written down which inevitably dehumanises life.

I don't think it's necessary to specify diagnosis if needing support, understanding. I hate the presumptions that are made about BPD, here included.

BPD doesn't exist any more.

That is, they are working on removing it entirely from the next DMV

its unfair and inaccurate and negative in connotation; bears bias both within the medical world and in the regular one as well

I believe in future it will be known as EDD

(Emotional Dysregulation Disrder) which is far more accurate.

As a diagnosed/undiagnosed BPD Bipolar Bithewaycanyoumakeupyourminds, its just another label

I don't tell anyone about it though

I don't even tell people about my depression

all this is very personal and private to me

and that's ok too

goodness knows!
Nobody knows about my bpd / eupd disorder except for my cpn and one close friend, I too choose to keep it to myself. I was only given the label when I was 56, I'm 62 now, I've disputed it all along, and will continue to do so.
