School and Anxiety

Hi my name is Sharry,

I just feel kind of lost right now so i resorted to this forum. I often stay home from school and call in sick. I’m not really sick when i do this. I did this since i was young and i have had a lot of problems for this in my past. But no one knows that i’m not really sick, not even my parents. The only person who knows is my brother because he kind of did it too sometimes. I am a very sensitive person and i kind of always did have social anxiety i think. When i was younger is also got send to a group for kids with a fear of failure by my teacher, but i don’t think it helped for me. I am now 18 years and i’m not in highschool anymore since i graduated (i live in Europe) and it’s different here. So i go to a sort of school where you can train to become a certain profession. But i’m often “sick” again this year. It’s not because i’m being bullied or something like that. Does anyone know if this even is anxiety and what i can do about this?

Can't diagnose anything, I'm not qualified.

But at a guess, it sounds like anxiety. Talk to a doctor though, ok?

If it is anxiety, there are ways to help control it, to let you do the things you need to.
