I read that delusions are when the brain can't make sense of reality/cope with reality. The brain reacts by predicting whats happening or going to happen.

Maybe the brain goes to such an extreme so that reality isn't as shocking when experienced as a more serious experience is being experienced.

Our brains predicting outcomes makes us more psychic than the people claiming to be psychic.

I think I became ill after having trauma in my life. Maybe I just handled it badly, and could have shrugged it off more easily, but thats what happened.

I had a passion issue, too much passion, and it imploded me.

Schizophrenia is an organic disease and as such, is not something that is viewed as "natural" but rather as dysfunctional.

Its no more natural than leprosy, imho.

I was a highly functional, high performing and high achieving person.

My problems began after I got cancer in my third year at university, after that trauma and anxiety and depression triggered big time. At the same time my partner was cheating on me in the most appaling manner.

Its a good job i didnt find out, i think i would have killed him. I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia four years later. My theory is it was triggered through acute trauma.

I seem to be fine at the moment though. I'm hoping its firmly in the past now.
