It is ed awareness week next week in the U.K. It seems ironic that at the very same time psychotherapy is being removed from inpatient units where patients are held under the mha

I have already posted this petition on line here already and some have signed which is great . There is now 1000 but we just need so many more as quickly as possible to try and stop it else it will go ahead shortly. It is very important to me I hope people can read between the lines why it is important to me. The link is below

I just signed the petition, “Jeremy Hunt: NHS Adult Eating Disorder Psychotherapy cuts: Patients at risk at Springfield, SW London.” I think this is important. Will you sign it too?

Thank you calypso that is very kind. I so want it stopped for all the patients it will affect now and in the future and cos I know this will start in all the units round the country if it is allowed to happen there which will put ed treatment back 20 years. I worry about the highly traumatic treatment done to ed patients under restraint for which there will be no one to talk to . Further traumatising traumatised people. For the psychotherapists who have made it their lives work. I want them to know that their hard work has and is so valued by the patients even if the managers are not valuing. I want us to live in a society where the vunerable matter and we look after them and where people in charge listen to the public. I know we have to get huge numbers to sign to get them to take notice but I have to try. And purely selfishly for me l can't bear for this to be taken from me too the situation is terrible enough already and to have no one is frightening
