The Anxiety is a big part of my OCD. I feel better for resting and having some quiet time. I go round and round in my mind and checking my body sensations. I am learning to try relax and not feed my condition, by going round and round. I avoid some stuff as it is to much anxiety.

Resting helps me too.

I’m glad you’ve found a way to cope

Some intrusive thoughts never go away. False memories stick even more so, especially if you stop being certain as to whether or not they're actually ''false'' or not. Lying on your bed for hours might not make them go away for the months that they're in there, but it helps therapeutically.
