In my experience religion is a very emotive subject which is both the “cause” and “cure” of many people’s problems, especially with those who suffer from mental health issues, a lot seem to have very polarised views, as recent threads on this forum seem to suggest some see it as a “saviour”, others see it as a “millstone”, it is a very difficult subject to find middle ground on at times.

I would urge all to be mindful of others views and think twice before pressing the post button, I have been a member of this forum for awhile now and I do think there is room for all on this forum, but there has to be a allowance of others views and beliefs, intolerance is something people with MH issues suffer from enough of on a day-to-day basis, I don’t like to come on this forum and see it happening here as well!

I agree. But anyone who is an extremist thou has other problems. It is about moderation.
