Wasn't sure where to put this but here goes. I had a text through from my GP surgery asking me to make an appointment. I rang and told the receptionist about the text etc and was quite surprised when she said it was about a letter from the mental health team. Surely she shouldn't know the reason for the Dr wanting to see me or am I just naive?

They can see our files sadly. Not everything, but the gp would have put a note on the diary page saying they had called you regarding blood test/letter etc

I call it the diary page.

They have different 'screens' and on one screen, the receptionist can put notes on like 'bloods normal' for the receptionist to read

Thanks. I really don't like it as they know me and all the family.Probably if it wasn't to do with MH I may not mind so much. In the end having made appointment I then cancelled it.
