It was a drug induced break. I felt like everyone was plotting something against me, like a big conspiracy theory turn real. I also thought I was an actor, Jim Carrey then Christian Bale, then I couldn’t make up my mind of who I was... I took like 7 times the standard dose of a drug by accident... Even experienced some terrifying visual hallucinations.

I had a similar psychotic break when over dosed on a certain drug and mushrooms. I thought someone was in love with me and I was on some scavenger hunt to figure it out and every person and thing I encountered was a clue - even trash on the ground..it lasted a long time for me, I then hit the streets and wandered around with a homeless man for a day and blew all my money. Threw away my phone quit my job etc...hope you didn’t wind up hospitalized. Mine wouldn’t end and I got baker acted

I took olanzipine and was super depressed...I am on abilify now and feel closest to My old self but I still don’t think I can ever get her back. It bums me out sometimes but I forget about it. sometimes it can be what you’re taking that doesn’t agree with you. Everyone is different when it comes to reactions

I tapered off completely of my olanzapine and was only taking low dose of Depakote and someone (the person I was in love with during my psychosis) came back into my life and triggered another episode. That time took 6 months to put me on proper medication, be careful going off so soon but of course listen to your doctor

I had my first major psychotic break and after I had many delusions, Feelings that people were against me and that I had to escape their grasp... terrible feeling, because you cannot fight everyone all at once... if everyone is against you, its impossible to fight back... Only for this I’m glad I take Olanzapine, don’t ever want to feel like that again, its hell on earth

Had a big blip over Christmas, couldn't sleep, had delusions and hallucinations. I'm okay-ish now. I still think I'm being followed and suspicious that people are plotting something bad to happen to me. :(

Best way to cope right now is to talk to someone and express my fears.

I had a break that started in 2015 and ramped up in 2018. It's scary that it lasted that long.

And did you experience depression and emptiness afterwards?

Yes! I was more like a blankness or maybe emptiness. I would talk to people on the phone and then get off and feel like I was falling off a cliff into nothing.

And how long did it last? Because I’ve been like this since my break 6 months ago. It’s getting real scary, I’m feeling like this may never go away
