But I am struggling to read it. I struggle to read anyway. There is pages and pages of it. I just can't do it and I am embarrased to tell her.

Set yourself a target of a page a day, or a paragraph in the morning and a paragraph in the evening, something like that. I can't concentrate for long periods a lot of the time so know your plight, just break it down a bit to make it easier for yourself.

It might be best to tell her. If she does her job correctly she would be supportive no matter what. I also agree with wishbone set some goals for yourself maybe mention this to her as well and she might be able to help you set those goals when it comes to reading the books.

Do tell the psychologist about your struggles.
It’s nothing to be embarrassed about.

Also, if you don’t tell her she may think everything is ok
and continue to give you things you find difficult.

Audio books would be better ?
I don t know, just an idea if it s reading that you don t like.
