I was psychic for a while when in the height of my psychotic episode when I was first mentally ill. I made several predictions which came true. I use to just say things randomly. I had no control over it at all.

It was almost as if my brain had tuned into another frequency and could do these strange things. I recall that I use to hear what people were going to say before they said it. As well as predicting events in the media.

Anyone else have experience of psychic powers when psychotic? Have you still got them? I suspect that I've lost the powers due to being on medication.

I call myself Psychic sometimes just because people think I am

I can make such accurate guesses about strangers.

But its not Psychic Ability, its experience and a million clues people give you.

For example, I blew a guy away once when he said, I bet you cant guess what I do for a living!!

you're a writer, I said.

this blew him away, he was a Journalist.

how on earth - you must be psychic!!!!

Not so fast bucko.

1. your hands are soft, that rules out manual labour
2. you ask a lot of Questions. Most men don't ask any
3. you are intelligent but not as smart as me. What profession do you head for if youre bright but not all THAT bright?
4. youre wearing a loose tie and suit of manky quality. That usually indicates youre a Detective, but: you have soft hands and a soft manner.

so. I guessed Writer, and I was suddenly Psychic. Not just assessing clues, Sherlock Holmes style.

The word psychic comes from two ancient Greek words.

The first of which is "Psyche" which translates as Soul, it was also the name of a Greek goddess. It is the root for such English words as:
1. Psychology: Which translates to mean, "Soul Study".
2. Psychiatry: Which translated means, "Soul healing".
3. Psychedelic: Which translated means, "Soul Experience" or "Soul Expression".
4. Psychic: Which translated means, "Of" or "Having to do with the soul".
5. Psychosis: Which translated means, "Soul disorder".
Everyone has psychic abilities to a greater or lesser extent depending on the person.

Typically sensitive people have psychic abilities or become spiritually emergent at some point in there life. When a sensitive person is exposed to pre-natal, natal, or childhood, adolescent, teen or adulthood stresssors that lead to trauma, that sensitive person can become not only spiritually emergent (best case scenario) but fall into a spiritual or "Psychic" existential crisis which medical model psychiatry calls psychosis.

There is no doubt in my mind that everyone here that has reported such psychic abilities as: Spiritual communication either in the form of telepathy or clairaudience, pre-cognition, predictive dreams, insights into people with no pirori information, manifesting and creating situations or materials, out of body experiences, Oneness or Duality Experiences, etc (all the spiritual or psychic perceptual and experiential states of consciousness).... Its clear you are not lying.

Your not alone, understanding how to deal with the experiences and perceptions without pathologizing yourself or others that experience such, is fundamental to going beyond a victim of such states or perceptions, and transcendence or enlightenment to a certain level of being in this world ad in society.

There are ways forward. There are ways to resolve trauma and deal with triggers that lead you to fear and despondency. All that it requires from you is a curiosity and hope to find resolution and transcendence, and a willingness to face your greatest fears head on with help.

That is amazing that your prophecies came to fruition. But I am disappointed that you were just ranting random things. You should try to stabilize your powers of prophecy so that you can do it at will, without feeling like you're just babbling random predictions. Let me ask you, do you see me getting a better job any time soon?

When you are walking, do you visualize several paths you can take and find yourself latching on to one of them? My voices refer to this ability as being able to see situations. By situations, I mean being able to see how possible future events are situated in the probability matrix of them coming to fruition. Do you see these situations? Or do you just plainly see one future even that comes to fruition?
