I have occasionally had a hollow feeling that I think occurs after prolonged incorrect breathing, it feels almost asthmatic.
Have you noticed your breathing?
Shallow breathing is related to anxiety/panic even if you dont know youre doing it.
Im sorry youre worried. Anxiety causes all sorts of crazy symptoms.

I all of sudden calculate and panic over my breathing as if I forget to breathe when this happens I freak out over it and then imagine I never breathe because I usually wouldn't notice it it's weird.

I have the hollow feeling in my chest all the time.
It is definitely to do with your breathing even if you are not noticing. I was reading up on it recently and read that people with anxiety sometime forget to breathe without even noticing. Since I read it I have noticed myself doing it.
I have downloaded the app ‘Calm’ and have done some of the breathing exercises which I have found really helpful.

It's like breathing in cold air for me and then my heart starts wanting to jump out of my chest and the shaking can last hours
