Physical pains from anxiety?

I'm confused. Trying to figure out what is going on with my body, and just thought I'd see if any one can offer an perspective or have had something similar themselves.

I'm diagnosed with EUPD and PTSD, and have constant panic attacks. I know when I have chest pain and breathing problems etc, when it's down to panic attacks, I've started to be able to tell that one.

But I'm also having random pain, everywhere, at random times and it's really getting to me. I'm also constantly dizzy and keep falling over, and my hair is falling out more and more (it's always fallen out more than most peoples, but it's getting so much worse. I literally can't keep on top of cleaning it all up now). Over the past year or so I've gone from feeling a bit tired to being shattered ALL OF THE TIME. I have to talk myself up to go to the toilet because I literally do not have the energy.

It's really starting to get to me - I can be walking down the road and my left ankle will hurt, get home and my right one will hurt, so it's not something I've done.

Can anyone help?
I have a drs appointment Tuesday and I want to be able to present a fairly well thought out problem, not just a babble about how much I hurt.

im gone take care email if you want its in my prof
ask your doc for recommendation to rheumatologist

may be like me i have fibro and others

but even stress alone can affect you weeks after you think its over

because it balls and locks muscles that triggers pain

ear nose throat can tell if ear imbalance is causing balance issues

its better to go over board and check it all then to find out later

my anxiety gives me head rushes pain chest pain

and my anxiety happens when im not even thinking or knowing im stressed

good luck

Thanks for the reply. My Nan has fibro and there has been some research to say it's genetic (I already have 2 other genetic disorders from her bless her!) but I'd been ignoring it to be honest because I'm very bad at researching stuff and thinking I have everrryyything.

How do I bring the pain up, keep a lig over the next week and just give to him?

trust me i know how that is 40 some years and there still finding new shit wrong with me i lost count and try not to find out anymore i think around 20 more or less mental and physical problems

like my bad day post we cant loose sight of the positive and we cant think of focus on everything

i mess up and count and focuse at times drags me down

but theres always new and always positive

i say take the steps go extreme i may hate it but have so much diagnosed has lead to finally right help

and fibromyalgia if they say trigger points or trigger point test run

fibromyalgia has millions of trigger points in the 90s they thought they could diagnose by trigger points

a specialist i just saw said bunch of bull then was nice enough to say had my whole life any good news doc

keep your head up keep fighting and reading for answers theres never to many opinions as long as everyone says something else then beats me what to do beat a few in good answers

good luck take care

I just wanted to say I hope the doctors are supportive and can help you.
I've got similar issues and suspect fibromyalgia, but the doctors never really acknowledge things.
They do tests (x-rays, blood tests) but as they all come back clear nothing gets done.

Try do to what you can in terms of managing things yourself.. painkillers, hot baths, hot water bottles, sports-bandage type things for if/when your ankle plays up etc.

chronic pain from panic and anxiety, I still struggle with daily, not eating properly because of anxiety related negative muscle stress, you can get stomach cramps, stiff sore muscles throughout, IBS, you can develop anemia and/or magnesium deficiencies if not eating regularily or healthy meals because of that muscle tension and cramping, that also causes a lot of weakness and muscle cramping as well as pins and needles feelings throughout. My pain is directly associated with my PTSD related anxiety and panick disorders. It's that exagerated fight or flight response and your body is on hyper alert making it build up negative tension. That causes all kinds of muscle problems. Headaches, migraines, stiff neck, sore shoulders as well.

Hope this helps, sorry I didn't see your thread earlier or I would of responded a lot earlier. Any thing more you need to ask, regarding this, I'm here now.

Yoga helped alleviate a lot of my pain issues when I was most anxious, lots of guided meditation and relaxation exercises help with the pain as well.

Saying much the same as Gajolene, all sort of physical symptoms because of anxiety.
One other very important point. Be careful that you don't get dehydrated. Vast proportion of the population do not take enough fluids during the day. I kept on falling asleep after my evening meal, really sudden passing out and quite scary. Local chemist suggested dehydration might be the cause. He was right and I now make sure I down a good few glasses of water during the day. My neighbour, in his 80s had a similar experienced with a total blackout.
Gosh isn't life fun!

Just realised I never said thank you. Thank you. Dr said something about the brain misinturrepting pain signals, so instead of ignoring everyday aches and pains everyone gets mine come out as really bad pain. He said it's caused my anxiety, like IBS can be caused my anxuety, this is a pain and brain thing that can be but less understood.

In a lot of pain in my knee should and back this evening and can't sleep cause can't get comfy it hurts. Havea bed of hot water bottles trying to target the pain bits.

Might be a bit more convinced by the diagnosis if he listened to all my synptoms. Mentioned my bowel trouble (like IBS) mentioned my hair is falling out alarmingly so (I scrub everywhere when I can but my hair get everywhere. I can tie it up but Imove and some still falls out. I keep geting dizzy and disorientated but wasn't when he did a balance test so passed and was deemed fine. Things hurt that shoyldn't (like a pat on the shoulder and scratching an itch makes it feel bruised) it's like my pain tolerance that used to be high has dissolved.

I'm far too ired to be posting, so I'm sorry if this makes no sense or if I'm totally off topic.
