Hi All

Just looking to share some information and get any feedback.
I have panic attacks daily but they manifest themselves in a weird way.

1. Is it normal for panic attacks to last hours?
2. I get a pressure in my nose, really strong and it makes me feel like I'm suffocating and it remains there for hours I'll escalate go up and down the anxiety scale on how much panicking I'm doing but the feeling remains there. It goes away for a few hours a day but always ALWAYS comes back especially in the evenings.
3. I get pains when I breathe in, both in my nose and throat is this normal? I feel like I'm actually destroying my body and it's just going to give up.

Anyone suffer with anything similar? I told my dr about the nose pressure but he didn't seem that bother by it but I'm not sure he knows how bad and often it happens.

Hello Misa, i have not had panic attacks last for "hours", with me it is chest pain or pressure in my forehead but lasts for a maximum of 20 minutes. Can i ask if you are under a lot of stress at this time ??? because constant stress would make panic attacks more frequent for you.

Not at that particular time but it is the time I have more time to think. I’m dealing with a lot atm such as caring for my mum who is dying whilst holding down a full time job. They aren’t full on intense for hours but it does linger. It’s hasn’t killed me yet so I’m sure it’s not serious but it fills me with dread everyday.
