For a couple of hours, usually combated by caffeine and nicotine.

did u put on weight too??
Yep, from about 9 1/2 stone to around 13 1/3 stone.

...does it help with racing thoughts???
Yes. Definitely. I call it my switch; it allows me to switch off each night as I sleep.

Been on others, and apart from above negatives (and potential diabetes), I've found it has helped.

:)

I took olanzapine for a while, I didnt suffer from weigt gain but my metabolism is super fast and always had been. It did make me sleep alot as well, something stupendous actually, never really woke up between doses.
Unfortunately it did not help me at all, but the doctors no longer know what to do with me and say I am resistant to medication.:(

Have been on it for 4 months. Does make me sleepy, but not put on weight. Not stopping voices now either.
