goodness knows!
i'm sorry you are feeling obsessional about your SH'ing, but that's how it can grab you, you also seem to understand the feeling you might get of once starting that you can't stop. Unfortunately this is a very real feeling which one can struggle with.

I understand that it's hard...I'm there myself at the moment. I guess you can only try / live an hour at a time, and maybe work at it that way.

There are some distraction techniques in the self harm sub forum which may help you....

Im glad im not the only one, makes me feel a little more safe, and to have someone to understand how i feel makes a big difference.. im just getting scared that what i do isnt enough.. and it might become alot more seirous than what it already is

I feel exactly the same, i struggle with the feeling of just making sure i do it even when i'm only the slightest bit upset. I'm so so glad i'm not the only one. It's the worst feeling in the world, but knowing other people feel the same it's so much better :)

i tend to find music helps me out quite abit :) but then it could be good or bad, it will eathier take me out of the mood, or lead me to really making a mess..

haha i'm not really into that music, i like a bit of chase and status and dubstep so like chrispy and borgore. but i found a sad song that i used to listen to when i suffered with a mild case of bulimia which makes me cry every time and that's what i usually listen to when i feel upset
