Sounds like all the gunk coming out of your system from years of smoking, as your body repairs itself.

Did you stop smoking? COPD is debilitating. Chronic and not good. Wheezing is common and it may go away soon. just do not smoke. Wishing love and health Jules

A couple of simple tests at the GP could put your mind at rest. A spirometer test that you breathe into will tell you what level your lungs are working at and an oxymeter on your finger tells of the oxygen in your body. Your nurse could probably do those . And I’m sure it would put your mind at rest

Already had those test done it said I have mild copd but my doctor said he dosent think I have it he said he thinks it’s just normal deconditioning of my lungs because of how long I smoked cuz I scored a 65 and I was supposed to score a 70 so the test came out saying mild copd so now I’m freaking out thinking I’m gonna die in the next five are

Not sure why and I do not wish to flame but you have posted this a few times over the past week. I am not sure how much more reassurance you need as the threads you have posted have had the same content.

I will repeat what I said to you in the other threads.
The only person that thinks you have copd is you.
The medical profession are well trained and have told you you do not have copd.

You have looked at a number that is slightly low and assumed you have copd but again you have not taken in to consideration that you were a smoker at the time if the test therefore a lower result is expected.

Everybody wheezes when we forcibly exhale. If we force air the a narrow passage like our airway it will make a noise. However when you breathe normally you will not really hear anything.

You will not die in 5 years time just because you blew just slightly less than average on a spirometry test.
