New to morning anxiety + stomach pain

Hi all, I’m looking for advice on dealing with morning anxiety. This is fairly new for me and I have no idea what sparked this problem. Every morning, I wake up before my alarm either due to my roommate or another sound and immediately feel sick to my stomach and like I am going to go to the bathroom in bed. Sometimes I will get up and go, and other times my roommate is in the bathroom and I am stuck feeling out of control with intense knots in my stomach/feeling like I can’t control bowel movements. Once I am out of bed for the day I feel fine pretty quickly. I have been in this living situations for months and only recently started feeling this way. I also feel fine when I am sleeping elsewhere, so it is something about this specific living situation. I don’t know what to do to help relax my stomach and don’t want to live like this for the next several months. Any advice?

You have classic anxiety symptoms

Try sleeping on the couch for a couple of nights if you have one.

Hi. I also have bad morning anxiety. Sometimes it gets better but can come back anytime. I know the physical feelings and I also get cold and clammy hands and feet. Things get better like you said but it’s a battle all day. Sometimes I think it’s triggered by a dream or subconscious memory. I hope you get through this quickly,it usually goes away once you realize the thoughts behind it. Feel better!

Im going through this right now. My only godsent-type advice would be to distract the mind in the morning. I like videos that talk about anxiety- plus how to overcome it. Its very tough sometimes though.. My anxietys so bad that i shake, in pain, for over 8 hours, sweating. even breathing steadily doesnt help. So i sortve (am working on) how to bounce back during these extreme episodes/ how to avoid them.
