Hi all, I’m looking for advice on dealing with morning anxiety. This is fairly new for me and I have no idea what sparked this problem. Every morning, I wake up before my alarm either due to my roommate or another sound and immediately feel sick to my stomach and like I am going to go to the bathroom in bed. Sometimes I will get up and go, and other times my roommate is in the bathroom and I am stuck feeling out of control with intense knots in my stomach/feeling like I can’t control bowel movements. Once I am out of bed for the day I feel fine pretty quickly. I have been in this living situations for months and only recently started feeling this way. I also feel fine when I am sleeping elsewhere, so it is something about this specific living situation. I don’t know what to do to help relax my stomach and don’t want to live like this for the next several months. Any advice?
