Hi All,
New here because i want to know if anyone else has this medication because it seems rare, and also to give and receive support as i've been through it and come out the other end. Bipolar 2 - horrible illness, horrible depressions, painful. On the road to recovery now and back at work on graduated return after a long while off.

To the point - medication i am on is solian. I've been through the BMF! Tried almost everything and so far, one week on this and no side effects. I was on lithium and have been switched to this which is keeping me stable so far. Still a bit low in the mornings. Has anyone been on solian? I'm finding i wake up at 3am which is trying, but other than constipation, nothing else, and i think i've lost some weight already as not got a big appetite. Does the insomnia get better?

Thanks
N

I am part of a trial for solian for bipolar two. Apparently it is a good mood stabiliser without weight gain or many other problems, no sedation either, so i'm really happy with it apart from the insomnia which i hate. I think historically it is a schizophrenia drug.
