Hi

I’m desperate to get help for my mum, who I feel is very depressed, anxious, tearful, angry.

I can’t sleep for worrying about this as has been going on for years and finally I’m at a loss. I’ve searched the internet, found this forum and I’ll post the detail in the posts area for family support.

If you think you can help please reply to me! Any advice is much appreciated

Hi welcome here, when my neighbour broke her hip 3 years ago now, she was so miserable, unhappy, depressed after... she is 86 years old now, and as she started to get around more with families help and our help, she was mobile but so unhappy... she knew I'd been researching power of the mind - and I say this to you it all depends if your mum is spiritually minded, and many are as they get older - and you can get one specialist after another which can cost money - but I said one simple phrase to her that made all the difference - I said keep your mind strong, because when its your time and the the spirit flies the mind goes with it'... sometimes the brain can be confused of course, but the mind will still be strong, so keep it strong - and you should see her now so positive, smiling and active... all depends on age and belief there with that I think...

Thanks OneLight for your reply and advice. I truly believe in the power of the mind 100%. I am going to say this to her, it seems very simple but I believe a good message that will help. I’m not meeting mum again for another week, but I will definitely say this and I’ll let u know how she responds. My mum is only in late 60’s.

Thank you for your kind reply, yes let me know how she responds and reacts to the phrase immediately you say it - not to be said in a pushy way, just drop the phrase in during conversation, and let it sink in for a few moments, then 'observe' - and then see how she responds over the coming hour and weeks... All you got to say someone said this, or said this to a neighbour - then we see how she responds after when you speak on the phone, when you chat - and how are you today, what you been up to, anything new... Its amazing isn't it how the simple things in life can be so effective, so we shall see over coming weeks, and anyone else who tries this, and share any good results here, we share info for the good of others...
