Need help with eating

Not sure where else to go for help. I don't have insurance so I can't see a doctor.

I'm an 40ish male that just doesn't like to eat. Eating often makes me nauseous and when I did have insurance, doctors did a lot of tests to find nothing wrong.

However what I need help with is gaining some weight. I have a hard time making myself sit down to eat and because of recent hardships, I have lost way too much weight.

I want to gain it back but I just don't know how. I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense but I'm not sure where else to go for help right now.

When we eat less for a while, our stomach shrinks. If you imagine a party balloon - your stomach is stretched to full size when we eat normally and shrivels back down when we go hungry.

You need to eat little and often - your stomach probably can't cope with a normal sized meal so its making you feel sick.

A good way to gain weight and restore all the vitamins and nutrients you need is with milkshake drinks. In UK, these are called 'Build Up' and have a high calorific value to sustain people who are ill or recovering from illness. If not the same product, no doubt you have something similar in the States.

Try and buy easy things to snack on such as cheese, cold meats and bread during the day in addition to a balanced evening meal.
