I am hiv positive since 2015. My diagnosis is: bipolar depression, adhd, lack of impulse control, ocd. My depression is genetics and i have mother and my sister with depression. I am in cure and at the moment I'm taking: zoloft, wellbutrin and lithium carbonate. The lithium is effective but sometimes gives me dermatitis, and a little pain in ear although I take a very low dosage. I have immune system at low level because of hiv and my energy level are low, and I continue to follow the therapy. I need very often supplements to deal the fatigue of daily tasks. With wellbutrin i feel sometimes numb and slow in talking. Hiv gives me lack of focus and sometimes memory problems. I would improve my cognition, reasoning better. Some patients has advices to me taking Ritalin for adhd and tiredness and for bipolar Lamictal. I'm undecided about what to do, which is whether to keep going to my current psychiatrist, that is private , or go to a public, also because I should have the best care because I suffer a lot and I think I deserve them after so many years. Even for HIV, I would like to find better therapy because sometimes I have side effects. I pray to find a suitable solution for me. Family doesn't support me as I want, but I love them although everything. What do you recommend? Thank you for your attention and help. Have a nice evening.
