I have been dealing with mental health issues since I was a small child. Therapy and medication has helped immensely. 2 years ago, I stopped taking all meds. I thought I was cured. My panic disorder has returned with a vengeance, and I believe it is now possible agoraphobia. How do I approach a physician about it. Should I go directly to a psychiatrist? My daily life is becoming more and more of a struggle. Advice is appreciated. Please be kind.❤

I would talk to your GP! You can either set up an appointment or call. You probably just need at least a portion of the meds you were on before. Some people stay on them and that’s okay.

no worries people on the forum are very sweet ☺

I appreciate you for replying. I've got to work up some courage to get back on track. I cannot continue to feel this way.

Right! It’ll just take one phone call to your doctor and if you’re afraid about being able to get to the appointment maybe ask what options you might have for receiving help over the phone, etc.

As you've survived for over a year without Meds means you can live without them. Don't panic and see how you go.
