Need advice if possible

Hello all, so firstly I need to say that I have never suffered any sort of mental health problems before, but around two weeks ago, I had been watching tv at night and there was an advert about cancer and someone on it had a brain tumour, at the time it did make me full uneasy but I have always had a fear of death. But I went to sleep and the next morning I was driving to work, and I started to think about the advert, and then all of a sudden my chest went really tight and I started to think that I may have a brain tumour because I had a headache at the time, and for the rest of that day o had convinced myself I had a brain tumour, even though I knew it was unlikely. But after a day or two I knew I didn’t have this, but ever since I keep thinking of death, and how short life is, and there’s things that keep making this happen, ie funeral adverts etc. I’m not sure what’s going on but I just want to think like I use to, I was really carefree and happy 99% or the time, now I feel down and worried 80% of the time

do you have a diagnosis yet ?
might be health anxiety but I don't know because I'm not qualified
I tend to focus on things like that
currently I'm worried about the hormonal content of different foods !

hi I have not,as I said I haven’t suffered from any thing before, so have been trying to eat better and go to the gym to try and take my mind off it which has helped a little but I just want back to the way I was before

otherwise you might need some professional help with that I think

We've all had over a year of doom and gloom and the fear put into us all that we're all going to die and this and that and the next thing... it's really no wonder that people are starting to feel anxious.
Take a break from the TV, it'll do you wonders and you'll realise just how bad it was for you after just a week of not watching any, trust me.
