to all you reading this i have a recommendation.....did you ever consider joining a mental health club......im a member of one and its great fro meeting likeminded people.....mental hea;th clubs are places where mentally ill folk can go to participate in art creative writing drama yoga or group ther apy to name but a few activities, or elese you could just drop infor a coffee and a chat....there s no obligation to do anything you dont want to do.....its open to all with mental illness whether that be depression, social anxiety or sz etc ........look it up or ask your menatl health team......
There is one - or was. But the people there have pretty severe illnesses like bipolar and schizophrenia. I think calling social anxiety a mental illness isn't right. It's one reason why many doubt there really is any such thing as mental illness. Thoughts and feelings don;t seem like they should be labeled diseases or illnesses. Schizophrenia and bipolar will probably be found to be neurological disorders someday. Lead poisoning and Huntington's disease are also neurological diseases that can look like mental illness.
