I am finishing my last year of IGCSE's and it started with when I was young with being frightened by noises at night, friends not actually liking me and things like that.

I had my mocks and I scored E's and D's for all my papers, cause I have gotten no sleep unless it's 7am+. I'm scared that someone will break in/kill me or my family and it's destroying my health and causing me to be more tired in the smallest things. The smallest noise, or staring into the black depths in between my curtains, will send me into a whole new thought process and I shut down. I immediately freeze and break into a cold sweat and begin to find it hard to breathe.

I really need help as I want to succeed in school. My family and I are going through financial issues and I need to do this for my family and for myself.

Have you been to see the doctor about any of this?
It sounds really terrifying for you.

Could you perhaps put a very small night light in you bedroom
so that everything is not totally dark.

Take care x

I can't my mom can't afford to help me as she says it's too expensive and my family doesn't take it seriously.

I do sleep with a cat lamp but even then I'm still scared.

I’m so sorry Ainnyyy.
Your family not taking it seriously must make
you feel a bit lonely.

Is there a teacher or counsellor you could talk to.
This would help explain why your grade are low. X

I have a mentor who is someone I find close but I'm scared she'll be like my other members who will just shrug it off and say it's a phase

I don’t think she will if she is your mentor..
Also you are close so she will know you quite well.

I doubt she will shrug it off.
Try to explain it as fully as you can,I’m sure she wii
listen.

Do you think writing things down to give her would help you.?

I honestly think she will listen though.
Do try. X
