The voices started at work today really bad which is unusual for me, I feel weak and depressed, I feel like all the energy has been sucked out of me, i have been on every med in the book except some I found on line, I'm going to talk to my phyc about them, they sound very good maybe my phyc could prescribe them.
If not I just do not know what to do, I don't want to slide back and end up in hospital again.

hi Wollie

I dont think its a good idea to be finding meds online
its a very specialist area

definitely see the psych about it
and ask about talking therapy as well

Get them prescribed mate. Don't take the online option. Doctors and pharmacist train for years to give us the best options for our needs. By bypassing the medical opinion you can seriously make things a lot worse for yourself.
You wouldn't fly a passenger airplane because you have read a book nor should you attempt brain surgery by googling it. The same applies to the treatment of illnesses. Or physical illnesses. Good luck and I hope you get help soon.

Thing is I don't trust my phyc any more and trying to get another is a right paine in the ass.
yes I have had therapy for 3 months and to be honest it didn't make the slightest difference.
I don't know what to do any more I feel left out in the cold.

Hi Wollie sorry you are having a rough time now. Definitely ask your doctor about any kind of medications. The under ground market is not the way to go. Hope you are feeling a little better Hugs Jules

Hi Jules
I am walking through porridge when it comes to mh issues, phycs seem to be able to cover their asses no matter what happens, I agree about the underground market I was just doing some research of my own.
Things are getting toght for me, I will be seeing my phyc in 2 weeks and am at a loss as to what to say to him.

Dr Andy Owen.
I am very tired what with my voices and depression I don't get any respite, the drugs you have prescribed me up to now have't worked, I have been told that vortoxetine and lurasidone work well, do you think they are an option for me, If not what do you propose for me in the futuer.

How does that sound Zoe?

k great

you said earlier in the thread
that your current medication makes you feel drained
I think you could add in that detail
sometimes they dont like us suggesting
things we found online
so maybe just be open to what he suggests
after you read this out to him

and do you have a CPN ?
because I found that was really important
to while I was changing meds especially
or a duty service you can call ?

Wollie you are an aspiring astronomer. You love the 80's music and it is good when you go out with your carer. I think you are growing and seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. I isolate and try to not make a noise when my mental health takes over (the voices). I love what you wrote out to say to your psychiatrist for your upcoming appointment. I sure hope you will tell him or her this. You are a great inspiration for me as I feel so lowly sometimes and reading your posts helps. I can tell you are going to get better. Or if anything comfortable.

People always tell me to go out for a walk-but I am so strapped down with my mental health I never do it. I see a gp and therapist. My therapist never wants to talk about my voices and hallucinations. My doctor talks to me about it but I hide so much. I want to be normal. I did tell gp on my last visit that I am hearing voices again-I did not mention the visual hallucinations She upped my medication. The same medication that makes me feel like a zombie. I am not taking the increased dose. My voices come go they are not always around. So I will just keep hiding from them. Best wishes at your next gp appointment Love hugs Jules

Aw jules, you sound so poorly I wish I could help in some way, you must get yourself out and about a bit, I do other wise I would be completly isolated so these twice a week outings are a life saver.
I think I have been through everything voice and depression wise, I don't have hallucinations though, so even though I hate phycs you should open up if you want to get better.

Love and hugs woolie.
