Hey all
So I have a flate mate and I have noticed thier excessive frequently reppetative behaviour. Its only just occurred to me they must have ocd. I don't care how much they like to clean the flat, go to the toilet or take a shower but what does bother me is the rising cost of using the washing machine 40 times a month when 5 times is the average. I was just about to tell them to move out but now I realise it's not piss taking it's ocd. The thing is he is a really nice guy so I don't want to be a horrible person by kicking them out for something they can't help doing. I want to tell him that his washing obsession has become to costly so he needs to stop, pay more or leave but I don't want to hurt his feelings buy talking about his condition which he hasn't mentioned to me. How should I go about this?

Many thanks

Thanks.. my main concern is how to let him know that his ocd has become a problem but without hurting his feelings , offending him or ruining our relationship bearing in mind we will be living in the same apartment. The bottom line is I don't want to walk up to him and say hey your ocd habits have become a burden

Cheers

gosh you sound so caring i have a nephew who had major problems in his house sharing venture the other people in the house were so unkind to him. and he had taken such a lot to get him to this point in his life. his father my bro had to support him at times not to throw the towel in.
