Hi everyone,
I suffered from a severe panic attack last night it was my first ever one and it was honestly the worst experience I have ever had, I was feeding my baby and all of a sudden my chest tightened and I couldn't breath my lungs felt like they was on fire and then the fire started spreading round my body like a wave of heat, I was hyperventilating and stared to feel sick and dizzy, my body was shaking uncontrollably, I had to put the baby down and go get my partner to see to him whilst I sat in a corner trying to calm down and sip water, it lasted about 10 minutes overall. But I still feel anxious it's like I have a pain or feeling in between my ribs and stomach like the panic attack is still there waiting to re surface, I'm petrified that its going to happen again, does anyone have any advice or ways to prevent these horrible attacks, I have no idea why it happend as i thought i felt fine I'm really confused and scared and would really like to try anything that can help keep these away
