My anxiety is outrageous tonight

Work was overwhelming today. The big wigs came in to inspect the restaurant and we also happened to be extremely busy. I was working in a position that I was still very new in as well.
I got to a point where I just felt completely defeated and nearly gave up. My anxiety was off the charts and it still kind of is. I’m hoping tomorrow is better because I’m not managing well at work right now in terms of my mental health.

if you dont believe in yourself it will make you very weak. and then you will have constant fear. the weakness is not genetic. you were not born weak. you have become weak because you keep doubting yourself instead of believing in yourself. you are using up all your energy and power to undermine yourself. this will make you very weak. and if you are weak you will always have fear. instead of doubting yourself try doubting your doubts. and doubting your fears. imagine how easy your life would be if your brain used all of its energy to fully empower you instead of hurting you. then you would transform from a tiny mouse into a arch angel.

that sounds really rough, but tomorrow is a new day and im sure it will get better. if you can, take the time to do some self care, reading, excersise or anything you enjoy, maybe over the weekend, to give yourself a break.

Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate it. Now that it’s a new day, I’m still a little anxious but my paranoia is kind of bad this morning and in recent weeks my paranoia has been relatively manageable compared to in the past.

I truly think that I’m working a little too hard. I’ve been training in a new position as a cook and the restaurant that I work in is extremely busy and the standards are very high (which I like). They have me working as a cook 5 days in a row because they want me to get a lot of practice in.

I think that when I overwork myself, my symptoms can become exasperated. I really need to just take some time off. I’ve been working hard at the restaurant since I started 6 months ago. I think it’s just time for a vacation or something to get my mind right.

So far my symptoms are Just increased anxiety and paranoia. I don’t really start losing it until the intrusive thoughts and voices start. I can’t handle those symptoms for long at all. So far that hasn’t started back up though, thankfully.
