I feel pretty negative today. Really, really negative... Like so sick and tired of pretending that everybody and everything is ok when it all clearly isnt and there is nothing i can do about it. Tired enough to just really feel done over it all ..but of course dont want to end it cause im a chicken*~#% and also dont want to hurt my guy. Gee i get to go back to pretending!

And all of this has a slight overtone of " i just dont care anymore". Which isnt like me very often ( usually very emotionally sensitive )

Is this what a mixed episode might feel like?

its sounds like you are feeling the frustrations i feel when i put on the swan look... elegant on top , paddling like f**k underneath.

you can only hold this position for so long , then you snap at someone, and they don't understand that you have been biting your lip for hours, days even...

I am expected to be the glue that keeps the entire family on an even keel (more water anology ... watery we are today ) when our psychy goes awol , they all say , 'what the f**k is up with her??'

not sure what a mixed state is. not a medic. but often find i have several different reactions to a situation.

hope you are feeling better . keep posting . feel free to PM me if you need to . happy to answer any question to the best of my ability.

the emotional rollercoaster is it in a nutshell. have you seen a member of the mental health team in your area?

does your partner know you are having a tough time??

mine doesn't want to know, which makes things difficult at times.

have you heard of mindfulness? i felt a right twat when i started but now i can focus on one small thing , how it feels, smells , anything you can see , hear , touch and after doing it my mind is calmer.

Mindfulness

just a thought. have you any distraction techneques you can use?

I think that's the whole problem... I am so sick and tired of distracting myself from whats really going on. Life should not be like that

Sorry im in " i hate the world cause no one gives a crap " mode :(. If people were awesome in the first place life wouldnt be so shitty
