10:55am, A Lover's Revenge, Sony Movie Channel. A radio psychologist gives some advice to a distraught woman desperate to escape from an abusive partner. When the female listener plucks up the courage to end the relationship though, her deranged ex-lover blames the radio presenter.

9pm, The Radical Story of Patty Hearst : Part 2: The Captive, PBS America. An extraordinary tale - (in the 1970's) Patty Hearst, the 19-year-old daughter of one of the richest and most powerful families in the US and the granddaughter of media magnate William Randolph Hearst, is kidnapped and held hostage by the mysterious `Symbionese Liberation Army' (a fringe cult-like Left-wing organisation who sought co-operative `symbiosis' for Humanity).

She was then seen by witnesses `assisting' the group in later terrorism and bank robberies etc whilst armed herself - and debate rages to this day as to whether she was brainwashed into doing it by her captors, or became a natural convert, or acted under duress throughout, or merely feigned co-operation in the crimes in order to assist herself with any later escape attempt she was planning. See which version this show supports. Adding to the debate is the fact that whenever she fired her gun no-one was actually hit whereas the other members did shoot people - so was that due to duress or was she just a poor shot since an initially unwilling recruit?
