I have to apologise. I have been a bit of a brat. My tone to some of you may have been a little off during the past week.

I had a meeting with my cpn today and she is having a review of my meds with the doctor later today.

Feeling a little clearer now that i have got a few things off my chest regarding cmht.

I have to accept that I am ill but it is difficult. Even when I am putting this post together my voices tell me that I do not have schizophrenia so it is difficult staying concentrated on writing this post.

I have not started the meds that i recieved last week yet as i am waiting for the review today.

Hope there are no bad feelings here

regards
Andy

It was understandable that you needed to get things off your chest regarding the CMHT. Hopefully now things can work out better for you.

Hi Fazza,

Not long been back from a volunteering task, me, I do wish you well, hopefully for your cpn's review of meds.

I can co relate that in my earlier years of falling ill, boy it took me about year, to realise, with a bump, I had become ill, and on med, of various sorts, and took me a very long time to realise. So I do understand whole heartedly what you are going through.

I should have thought and I am feeling a bit annoyed of the doctor point of view, that he didn't wish for you to work, I should have thought that having being in work would have helped you to take you out of your mental health statuses, ie, when feeling low say, and work would help you back up and running on a comfortable level not too high feeling.

Take care now.

Review of my meds Has been done and I have been asked to go and see the doctor next Thursday. In the interim they have asked me to start back on haloperidol at 5mg instead of 10 as I am unwilling at this time to take 10mg.

They have also asked that I destroy all of my unused diazepam sertraline and the 10 mg haloperidol. They wanted to come and collect it but I was out.

Thought that it was a strange request but I am in the process of destroying them now.

Why do you think they have requested this.

They probably requested you destroy your other meds because they don't want you taking them. They probably want you to have a fresh start and don't want them hanging around in case you decide to start taking them again. I wish you well.

Haloperidol is kicking my bum. Fell asleep at 18.00 and woke at 23.00 feeling like I had had a full night sleep.

Feeling really irritable but manageable.

i would mention this, and check the medine leaflet, and contact the CPN if you could today, or other wise next week, before Thursday to enable the CPN to mention this to the doctor.

Thanks Natalie. They already know that Haldol makes me irritable. I have an appointment with the Pdoc on Thursday.
I have no procyclidine to help with the akathisia but I can hold off till Thursday as it is just building at the moment so no real urgency.

Mood has improved slightly but still not great
have to go and hand back all of works belongings this evening so that wont be nice.
voices are rampant and very noisy indeed.
