LU, it's good that you go out to walk Maddie, it's good for both of you. ESA for mh isn't about whether you can go out or not, as you say, lots of us have to. It's just one question they use to get an idea of things. Try not to worry, you aren't well enough to work.

Lu, I have a dog and I walk him in country lanes and field so I do go out. I am in support group too. Try not to worry. Going out how you do in no way makes you fit for work xxx

Walking Maddie does not mean you can work! You walk Maddie because that is essential for her well being and you are a wonderful owner. If my partner is busy then I will go to the doctors or mental health appointments alone because I have no choice but it really stresses me out. You have to answer the form as though you are having a bad day and that would mean you need to put that you cannot go out alone. I know I am no expert but I feel totally certain you will have no problems claiming ESA and will not be put in the work support group. You are a genuine case and your doctor will support you. Please try not to worry. xx

You can say you never go shopping or out with other people around as that causes you psychological distress and panic attacks.Say you only go to an empty field and back to walk the dog and you never see or speak to anybody.Apart from that say you are completely agoraphobic.Don't say anything about having to get electric yourself if your aunty dies, that isn't happening yet.

Lu try not to worry so much. They don't decide on one question alone, they want an overall picture of how your illness affects your life. I go shopping, alone, but still get ESA and high rate PIP. I'm sure you'll be fine. xxxxxx

What does "put the electric on my key alone" mean? I don't understand.
I have agoraphobia too, and it sucks! I hope everything works out for you.
