goodness knows!
How many tips can we come up with which may help us manage stress....

Here's some for starters:

1 Meeting a friend for a drink.
2 Set aside 10 minutes a day to relax and collect my thoughts.
3.Watching late night TV debates that deal with the realities of the world. 4. 4.Listening to relaxing music.
5.Watching funny movies.
6.Taking a good walk in the countryside.
7 Going to the gym.
8.Soaking in the bath with lavender oil.
9.Meditating.
10.Talking to someone just to vent a little.
11.Walking the dog.
12 Getting more sleep.
13.Praying.
14.Reading a book to distract yourself from your stressful thoughts.
15 Do something good for someone else.
16.Writing a letter to someone to get your feelings across and vent, but not actually sending it.
17 Painting or drawing.
18 Book a massage or spend time in a spa with a friend.
19.Write a list of things to do and cross them off as you do them.
20. Try putting things into perspective.

I fully endorse a few of them;

Listening to music is definitely a must for me, tip for others though, start off with small doses of music listening 2 or 3 tracks, a session, building up bearing in mind I use a cd walkman, to virtually half a day listening, this is on a gradual basis by the way, and then all afternoon, and evening, not forgetting to have meals, etc.

I certainly work out regularly and daily when able to fitness dvds, and attending classes of fitness dance or zumba gold.

Definitely and what is working for me at the moment, getting more sleep. Cut back and down on doseage of my main mental health med, and, I'm sleeping much better.

Certainly, I shall be listening to music, on the flight long haul out, and then for the majority of the time out to the other country.

These are just a couple or few of some my confirmed, definites of stress management tips.

Oh and another one, if feeling very frazzled, I always when next able to, go in to a fun hard dance workout dvd. Together combined with tradional aerobics warm up and stretching, and then cooldown and stretching. I am then feeling very refreshed, oh an destressed most importantly.

Take care, and try not to fret over work too much, that's the other tip i have.

Hi Folks,

I haven't forgotten about this brilliant and very supportive forum.

I have been relaxing and keeping destressed, apart from slight tirdness, by needleworking, and listening to music combined. I was listening to one of my very favourite musicals, which always has me feeling good de-stressed, there are 20 tracks, on the cd, and I have discovered as of today, that there is to be a 2016 UK Tour, of this musical, once again, so I'll certainly won't give up listening - it's my daily regime, of listening to this musical, sorry, can't namedrop which musical, clue, there has been a film about this, only ah, the producers of the stage version simply couldn't use the songs from the film, - I have probably given the answer away now.

Also, I have been busily preparing, for the week ahead, mentally and for over the weekend too, I'll be hosting one of my favourite, well parents will be hosting, all time cousin, on mum;s side of the family. So I'm looking forward to that, from 3.30pm, Sunday. So if i'm not on here, as usual, that will be the reason why.

I hope to get a home workout done, over the weekend, out to my day centre branches one of them, on MOnday, and then back to there on Wednesday. I'll find the time to log on. In my spare time at home.

I am very relaxed, and very destressed, and calm, this evening.

Natalie.
