Magnesium for depression and anxiety?

Interesting video. Says lots of people don't get enough magnesium in their diets. It helps with lots of things. Seeds and nuts such as pumpkin seeds and almonds are good sources. And there's magnesium citrate, these big white tablets. Can help with sleep and if you're constipated those nuts and seeds can be beneficial too. Worked for me anyway. This doctor has some good informative videos.

Leafy greens are best source of Magnesium. Spinach, Kale, Collard Greens!

Took one of those magnesium tablets last night, as I do once in a while, and yeah, feeling pretty relaxed and calm this morning.

I used to take magnesium because it helped my twitchy muscles. For some reason I stopped but I too have read it can help with depression so I've recently started taking it again 👍

I have taken magnesium citrate for ventricular ectopics and they do work. Hubby put one in soup as I was reluctant to take them when advised and after a week he told me. Now I just take them. They are also good for you.

Anyway, I take magnesium everyday, but either the dose is too small or I just don't absorb it properly for some reason, but it doesn't do anything for me with regard to depression, anxiety, sleep or muscle aches.
