Lu, believe in yourself hun...XXX, to even survive after some of the things in you have been through shows your stronger than you think you are :) and as far as Maddie is concerned she's one of your top priorities and your love for her has got you through so much...and one more thing I believe in you and so does @Urban Hermit. Here to support you if you need to talk...Big hugs sweets. XX.

So sorry to hear Maddie needs an operation fairy Lu.
What is it for?

You have nurtured Maddie through illnesses before.
Don‘t be afraid.
You have definitely got the strength, courage and love
to care for her again.

Thinking of you both, xxx

@Fairy Lucretia, you will never be alone, you have @Urban Hermit and I will be your friend for as long as I am on this planet. The fear is just mental habit caused by your Dad, I may have taken a vow of Ahimsa but that's one fucker who I'd happily get down right medieval on his ass! But unlike him I'd have the decency to feel awful about it afterwards!!!:D.

My insights in meditaton have taught that at the core of us there is a something that is so pure and so strong and perfectly at peace I know 've touched it from time to time. No what's been done to you and no matter what's you have done it's never been touched by it but it's hidden from us by layers of mental conditoning and the animal part of the mind. But it's there in everyone especially you with your oh so compassionate nature. When you touch it you feel a profound love for everything even people like your dad!

These fears and anxieties you feel aren't as solid and real as you think they are, the sense of self and it's worries and feelings aren't you they just seem that way. Truly the sense of self is empty of self, it has no inherent essence and if it isn't solid it can be changed and so can it's habts. I can't free you of them, you will never be free of them but you can learn to detach from and not get caught up in their bullshit. I'm going to PM you my technique to calm the mind and detach from the thoughts in a bit, need a few more fags and coffees to counter this fucker of a neuroleptic hangover I've got! It might not work straight away but it will work I guarantee it and if you keep at it, it will calm you - I guarantee it.

Hi Lu,
I'm so sorry to hear about Maddy, she's a fighter like her mum.
I know it's a worrying time, try googling how to put eye drops in dogs.
I had to put some in my cats eye, he got used to it.
Lu you can do this, I believe in you.
Please use us for support.
Sending love, hugs and strength for you

I have to use drops for my lovely rescue cat Pumpkin.

He also has to have his back teeth removed soon.

I know how you are worrying Lu.
I am worried about Pumpkin having the anaesthetic and recovery.
Also whether they will give him enough pain relief.

I‘m sure he will have to eat differently but I haven’t asked yet.
It will depend on what he has to have done to him.

You and Maddie have such love for each other and she knows
to trust you.
You and Maddie CAN do it.

love from pollypop and Pumpkin xxx
