Hi,

I’m not 100% sure how to explain this, but here goes. Basically I am always actively (or most probably subconsciously) looking for something to worry about.

I think this is because I’m SO used to worrying about everything, so when I come to a point where I actually feel okay, it feels so weird to not worry.

How do I start and try NOT to seek out worries and just live?

I have the exact same problem. My therapist says that because i have always been surrounded by chaos, that when there isn't any, i tend to create it.

Because youre used to it. Things feel strange without worry.
It takes years to retrain this but it can be done.

I worry all the time, I can never stop worrying, sometimes I mentally put myself in terrible scenarios like prison or abyect poverty and I get really anxious and scared.

Stay active. When you are active it takes your mind of unwanted emotions and thoughts
