Did any one see this?

It's worth a watch if you like this programme. It covers the story of a family search they did for a series 3 years ago, but wasn't shown (for obvious reasons when you see it).

It was very interesting, and very sad.

I didn't know which section to put this in either, as you will also see.

It's on this link, last 20 minutes. (though the whole episode is interesting, if you like ancestry/family history type things)

Family reunions aren't always as rosy as the the programme shows.

This was obviously a really tough time for all when this news came to all parties.

Ultimately the choice of whether to show or not is the choice of BOTH the finders and the found, despite the effort of the programme to entertain us.

Sometimes in this show one party doesn't want to show, but in the case where both don't want to show, it gets dumped.

This was 3 years ago, and after that time, they've (both parties) agreed for it to be shown, and the outcome now.

Quite extraordinary it was too, hence worth all the hassle to load it up these days. I prefer youtube personally.

k well I'm glad they decided to have it aired
I have never seen anyone with a mental illness
so much welcomed and integrated into a family or social group

I thought further about it
and wondered if the decision not to air
came from the producers
who did not want to make the doctors look like complete morons
with their false diagnosis !

hmmm and maybe my diagnosis is wrong too !

that was interesting actually
because I tend to think of myself
as a bit of an expert on emotions
after 35 years in therapy !

actually there were details I missed
