Hello! I’ve been super sick for a while. I’ll skip the story, but right now I am afraid of people and addicted to the Internet. This has been going on for a long time. I’ve been in the hospital a lot, I guess because I don’t learn. I have tried many meds. Any advice?

I have a real fear of people but I'm working on it. I've hardly left the house in 10 years just to go food shopping and the doctors. Been really afraid I'm going to be attacked. Since i've started escitalopram my anxiety levels are much less, and I'm functioning better outside the house, but it's still hard. Yep I'm on the computer a fair bit, communicating here is pretty much it for me,
I don't have any friends. Pleased I found this forum i think you'll like it here @sashasonya

If you know what your fears are, and the cause(s) of it are, finding a solution or work around should take a lot of the stress and anxiety out of the equation. Some fears are obviously easier to solve than others though... Side noting slightly, there are people in this world who think spreading fear is a good and really clever thing to do... the reality is it makes people do extreme things. For example, take the knife crime we hear about. There are no doubt many who fear they could be stabbed, and so carry knives too. There are those who fear of being attacked, and so will equip themselves with whatever it is they feel will protect them. Then there are those who actively incite hate and a lust for blood in our societies, infecting ordinary people with their vile mentality, and as if there isn't enough of it already!! Fear and intimidation IS NOT progress!!
