Hi there,

Just wanted to say a quick hello. Was recently diagnosed with bipolar and thought that this forum would be a good way to chat to others about it. I've been told that talking to people who have been through similar experiences will be a big help. I hope that maybe i'll be a help to others too in the future.

Yes, it seems great on here. People are extremely supportive of one another!! Its a shame not everyone out there in the world can be so considerate of others.

Hiya Elvis - I was so lost and alone and terrified when I was diagnosed with Cyclothymia - while trying to find out what on earth that meant for me I came across this forum and have to say has been a life line.

Just knowing you are not alone and that others have the same problems as you really help me , as I struggle with feeling a miss fit and feeling hoplesss.

I know that feeling. Having recently started back at work i've seen the way that particularly those in a more managerial role view me. i have been made to feel very small and have been told in not quite these words, but you get the drift, that the person who took over my role is quite frankly a lot better. If I cant meet that standard then i get the feeling my life could be made a difficult. You build up all your confidence and then someone in one swoop takes it away. Its not been a good day but tomorrow will be better. I hope you are ok
