Just broke my binge/emotional eating streak and I feel angry and sad with myself.

I haven't really truly binged in a while. I have maybe eaten a little more than a single serving, but haven't binged. Well tonight I did. I got some upsetting news and couldn't help myself. I was sad. I ordered a pizza from dominos, and I ate the entire thing. I've been doing keto for a while and I've lost a lot of weight and I fucked it up. I can't believe I did this to myself. I'm 85 net carbs over my limit for today. My limit is 20g net carbs. Fuck. I HATE EMOTIONAL EATING!!! IT DOESNT EVEN MAKE ME FEEL GOOD!!!! WHY DO I DO IT!?

I guess it's just hard to forgive myself. I will say this wasn't as bad as my binges were in the past... those were awful...... unspeakably awful... but i still feel so shitty about it :(

I've stopped bingeing recently
by counting the calories
but not like oh you are only allowed x amount of calories

but just writing down the calories and then thinking
oh look I've had more than I thought !

Yeah, thats not a bad idea. ive been keeping track in a carb manager app.

works for some to feel a little bit of control

I had my calories down to about 2000
that was before the cold weather hit
so I'm hoping it will go down again

yeah i generally aim for around 2k or less. (depends on how hungry I am and all that). It's just frustrating, you know? Today was just a hurdle. I'm okay. I can do this.

I think protein diets are dangerous and unbalanced

you can get ketonin poisoning from it

I'm doing keto with my doctors approval, i was very borderline diabetic and keto is very good for diabetics!! So she put me on keto :) I actually have an appointment on monday with her, and according to my diabetic eye exam from a couple weeks ago I don't show any signs of diabetes so I'm thinking she'll just switch me to a low carb diet instead of strict keto lol. Basically it was a temporary measure to bring me back from the line of diabetes :)

Gosh. I've been trying to do 1200 calories. Look it was one day so don't be too hard on self. I have son's exercise bike here just now but I have never been on it lol. No, you have nothing to beat yourself up about I don't think. I expect we all want to be a healthy weight though. I know I do and not in first flush of youth here.

k yes its different if you have consulted your doctor about it
and note he's putting you on low carbs not no carbs
